garden project in chorley, lancs

This garden was designed and built by our landscapers in Chorley, Lancs.

The garden design was based around a low maintenance theme, whilst creating personality and charm by using different shapes and textures. The area was long and thin and we wanted to use to the full the space we had.

Artificial grass was choosen to create a small lawn area. We used Verde Turf, with a two tone colour and length of blade, making it a realistic looking grass. the two length pile also gives it a softness. The artificial grass was then edged using Indian stone setts that blends with the path.

An Indian stone circle is used as a patio, seating area. It also introduces shape and colour to the garden. The path that runs the length of the garden in also in Indian stone. It connects the two areas whilst creating a practical walkway to the greenhouse at the rear of the garden.

By using natural river gravel and pebbles of different sizes it softens the whole garden and ties the areas together. Under this it was membraned to restrict the growth of weeds.

Our landscapers were really pleased with the outcome and the use of the different textures worked well to create a usable garden space.
