Artificial grass play area
This play area was designed by Linda Platt, and constructed by our landscapers in Burnley, Lancashire.
The site is at a nursery, designed for the children to develop their learning. There are different sights, textures, and sounds for them to explore whilst providing a safe place for them to learn, develop confidence and social skills.

We used sleepers to create 3 large raised beds. They are currently filled with soil but are designed so they can be changed at a later date to sand or water, offering variety to their play. The children will be involved in the planting and tending the plants as part of an ongoing project.
The turf is an artificial grass, verde turf. It is a tough, low maintenance grass that is durable, ideal for play areas. It has a two tone pile of different lengths which makes it look realistic.
The posts are there for a platform to be added with slides coming off. There are shock absorbing pads under the grass where the slides are to be, ideal for a softer landing!
