The existing patio needed replacing as it was the original one and very tired looking. The garden is on two levels. Retaining walls were already present, faced using the same brick as is used for the property, this made the area strong enough to hold the weight of the raised Indian stone patio area.
The patio was flagged in lines using Indian stone (raj green). Indian stone was choosen for its unique display of colour contrast, and its natural looking finish. Cobble setts of the same stone were used as a feature, making the patio individual. An area was left open where the clients had an existing structure they used as a planter.

Natural coloured river gravel was used as a finish around the patio which blended with the newly paved area.

The design and quality of the finish and materials used meant the clients has a large area they intended to use for relaxing and entertaining.
